This session will look at what we say to one another and how we say it. Using scripture, stories and humor, Pete will help you discover how you can love deeper, communicate clearer, and have more fun with the most intimate person in your life.

SINGLE PARENTING
Becky Danielson M.Ed.   No Need to Go Solo   
The day-to-day responsibilities of single parenting can be demanding, hectic, and sometimes overwhelming. Building a community of support and encouragement will help you to raise your kids well while caring for yourself. In this session, we will discuss stress relievers, community builders, and faith formation.

PARENTING
Heather Larson, M.A.   Equipped To Parent The Teen Years   
“Where is my sweet little girl? Who has taken up residency in her body?” If you have questions about parenting a tween or teen, you are not alone! Come join us as we introduce She’s Almost a Teenager: Essential Conversations to Have Now. Parents of sons and daughters will be encouraged and equipped to think through and discuss tough topics including dating, friends and faith with your teen. We will look at the developmental process, biblical guidance, and plans for shifting more responsibility to your tween or teen. You’ll leave feeling ready to face the teen years with excitement and anticipation instead of dread.

Becoming a Church with 1 Corinthians 13 Parents
This early workshop is designed for pastors and lay leaders to learn more about using the 1 Corinthians 13 Parent series for large groups, small groups, and mentoring relationships. Tips and strategies will be provided to encourage 1 Corinthians 13 love in families. The session begins at 8:00 AM with a complimentary breakfast.
