HOT DEAL: Trains Galore
Retail Store and Party Room, Wooden Track, What’s New, Hard to Find, AND a Clearance Room with a wide assortment of wooden engines and accessories for Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway
Kids and trains naturally go together. How can a child not be intrigued with a box of track and an assortment of engines and rail cars with personalities that connect with magnets to one another? My boys’ Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway is well loved. They played with the trains for years! Thomas, Percy, Henry, and James with all their friends were always on the top of the list of toys for small guests to pull out and play with when visiting too. The toys are durable, timeless, and just plain fun.
Kids can learn a lot from Thomas and his friends. Designing and building the track requires the use of fine motor skills, logical thinking, and creativity. Connecting engines to rail cars and guiding them along the track aids in eye-hand coordination. The facial features of Thomas and the other engines can assist in teaching children facial expressions and emotions. Most importantly, spending an afternoon setting up a train track and playing with the wooden engines and cars, spurs on a child’s imagination and encourages cooperative play with siblings and friends. Great lessons for every child, starting with a little blue engine, Thomas.

Thanks for participating in the WeAreTeachers Blog Hop!
My 1-year old son recently learned to say “Choo Choo” while watching the bigger kids play at the Barnes & Noble train. Now he loves all things trains! Thinking a little train set under the tree might be the perfect Christmas morning present.
I’m stop #9 on the Blog Hop. Be sure to hop on over and enter to win a $25 gift card to Wayfair.com. I bought my son’s train nap mat and lunch box there. 🙂
