Yiayia’s Blessing

Yiayia’s Blessing is a beautiful prayer specifically for grandchildren. Grandparents have unique opportunities to share the gospel with their grandkids. My friend, Bev Coniaris, prays this prayer at bedtime with her grandchildren sharing the love of Jesus. I hope you’re inspired by her sweet and meaningful words and actions.  xoBecky

Yiayia’s Blessing 

“Jesus loves you so much (Do cross on their forehead.)

that he died on the cross  (Do the cross on cheek.)

to save you from your sins (Do cross on other cheek.)

then he rose again and is always watching over YOU (Insert child’s name.)

because he loves you so much (Do cross on forehead again.)

and so do Yiayia and Papa.” (When I say Yiayia and Papa I kiss each of their eyelids!)

I pray and bless our grandchildren when I tuck them in bed at night. This is my way of giving each one of my grandchildren a memorable experience hearing the gospel. I hope this can be used by others to share with their families.
