Faith-filled Ideas to Remember the First Easter

Passion Week begins this Sunday, Palm Sunday. It marks the beginning of the most holy week of the year for Christians. While it’s easy to get caught up in everything from Easter dinner to chocolate bunnies, make time each day to focus on Jesus and the first Easter.

Reading biblical accounts of Holy Week will help center hearts and minds on Christ, his death, and his resurrection. The verses relating to Passion Week can be found in all four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It’s a great way for children to see the consistency of God’s Word and see the events of Passion Week through the eyes of four of Jesus’ closest friends and followers.

• Mark 14-16
• Luke 22-24
• John 13-21
